John Thomas Thomas and Family, Son of Jacob Thomas and Mary Callahan Thomas of Jefferson County, Tennessee

John Thomas Thomas, son of Jacob and Mary Callahan Thomas was born 1827 at Strawberry Plains, Jefferson County, Tennessee. He married Sarah A Dance, January 9, 1848 in Jefferson County, Tennessee She was born in Virginia in 1828, died in Buchanan County, Missouri. John,his wife and several small children moved to Buchanan County in 1850 with John's mother Mary Callahan Thomas and other family members. Some of his descendents live today near Sacremento, California.
