William Anderson & Elvira (Whaley) Ramsey

William Anderson (Anse) Ramsey born on March 19, 1868; was the son of Samuel and Wealthy (Whitlock) Ramsey. Anse died on April 1, 1941, in Sevier County. Anse married Elvira Whaley on October 22, 1889, in Sevier County. Elvira Whaley was the daughter of Issac and Hulda (Ogle) Whaley. Elvira was born on September 11, 1871, in Sevier County and died there on August 20, 1954. William and Elvira were the parents of the following children: Issac Ramsey was born and died as a child in the period of 1891-1900. He is buried in the Mullins Cemetery, Sevier County, Tennessee. Anna Lee Ramsey was born in June, 1892. Anna Lee married Leonidas (Lee) Huskey on February 16, 1910. Samuel Ramsey was born in September, 1893. Samuel married Nola McGaha on February 21, 1922. Samuel died in 1946 and is buried in Webb's Creek Cemetery, Sevier County. James Pinson (Jim) Ramsey was born on July 12, 1895. James married Myrtle Lindsey. James died on July 22, 1953, and is buried in the Webb/s Creek Cemetery, Sevier County. Josie Ramsey was born in September, 1897. She married Oscar "Auck" McCarter. Josie is buried at Philadelphia, Loudon County. Alice Jane was born in May, 1900. Alice married Dewey Huskey. Alice is buried in the Webb's Creek Cemetery, Sevier County. Perry Ramsey: Lillian Ramsey. Lillian married W. Homer Bradley on June 3, 1932. Lillian is buried in Webb's Creek Cemetery, Sevier County.
